Thanks for your post.

I am not sure which part of the newsletter you are asking about. I tried to give some recommendations in the newsletter and you can get further guidelines in the sources I cited. If you have specific questions please drop me an email (grc@garyrcollins.com) and I will try to respond to your specific questions.

I agree that with counselling etc., it is neccessary to "move with the times". The current generation, and indeed my own kids, are growing up expecting to be able to everything via electronic means. I believe that with some thought and ingenuity sutable methods will be formulated to provide most basic services - especially as it becomes more common for hoouse-holders to have web-cams attached to their computers. There are many counselling issues that do not necessarily need the personal prescence of a counsellor.
But there will always be the need for traditional face to face service and therefore a place for those not wishing to provide electronic service. I guess that professional safety will come with current ptofessional associations holding listings and memberships of qualified service providers. It should be no less safe than the current situation, provided the "client" checks this aspect - just as we should now anyway before engaging a counsellor or psychologist.
